1) Audition
Training Choirs
Chorus Angelicus invites all children, kindergarten through fifth grade, interested in singing to join the non-auditioned Training Choir for a lively one and a half hour session per week. Classes are based on creative instruction designed to develop music and performance skills. Each session includes a segment of ear training and theory, musical activities, movement, and repertoire. These activites provide learning experiences which develop the musical and social skills necessary to move on to the next level.
Junior and Seniors Choirs
A training Choir member may be encouraged to audition for Chorus Angelicus when he/she exhibits a strong, accurate voice, passion for singing, and the willingness to work. Students who have musical experience and are 10-14 years old may audition for the Junior or Senior choirs, as well.
